Investor Confidence Leaps

Results in the recently published IFSA CoreData Investor Sentiment index have shown a significant increase in investor confidence. “June quarter confidence at 2.3 points on a scale between -100 and +100, up from -22.3 points in the March quarter.

The deputy chief executive of the Investment and Financial Services Association, John O'Shaughnessy, said the survey showed people were starting to look for opportunities. "The investors surveyed have some experience and have probably been through a couple of market downturns," he said.” "They know that when the tide turns, sometimes it can do so quickly and that if you are not in the market. you can miss out on some significant gains."   Adelaide Advertiser 26th June 2009
